4 Strains of Bacteria for Perfect Fermentation

ā€‹

SuperSile® ingredients: Lactic Acid Bacteria species P. acidilactici, E. faecium, L. casei, and L. plantarum act in relay to start the fermentation at neutral pH 7 and rapidly bring it down to pH 3.5. This keeps the feed cool.

Amylase enzyme converts the available starch in the ensiled materials to sugars.

Cellulase enzyme breaks up the cellulose cell walls so more of the feed gets digested and converted to energy for production.

Pectinase breaks down pectin in the cell wall as an additional digestion aid.

Xylanase converts xylose to usable sugars.

Bacillus pumilus acts as an oxygen scavenger by reducing the oxygen pockets as well as secreting bacteriocins to limit plant cell respiration and reduce the number of undesirable bacteria, yeasts, and molds. This process saves the available sugars for the lactic acid-producing bacteria.

SuperSile Forage Inoculant is an excellent inoculant choice for small grains.

Our inoculant is formulated to deliver 150,000 Colony-Forming Units (CFU) per every gram of forage, one of the highest concentrations on the market. 

We don’t use harmful caking agents nor useless fillers. Our inoculant will flow smoothly through any application system. 

SuperSile can be applied right at the harvester in the field, or as you are bagging or packing your silo. 

 

SuperSile inoculant will give you, at minimum, a 3:1 return on your investment with at least 3% less dry matter loss.

These parameters are critical for excellent feed efficiency and daily weight gain. 

Better than propionic acid or preservatives that can have harmful additives, SuperSile Dry Hay is a blend of safe and effective bacteria and enzymes that will control the heating in your dry hay bales, up to 26% moisture. 

 

This gives you a bigger window to harvest in, better control of your operation, and better feed to use or sell. 

 

Studies show that inoculant-treated hay bales have a sweeter taste, weigh more, and stay green while retaining leaves. 

 

Inoculant helps you save the hay that you have worked hard for by reducing respiration and weather losses.

SuperSile Silage is highly concentrated, delivering 100,000 Colony-Forming Units (CFUs) per every gram of silage.

 

Less filler makes it flow extremely well through any application system, giving you less downtime and more success applying our inoculant with four strains of bacteria to help with digestibility.

 

SuperSile Corn Silage Inoculant helps lower the pH and speed up the fermentation process. 

 

SuperSile +LB will help with aerobic stability and help eliminate any oxygen holes to ensure better fermentation, which leads to less spoilage and less waste. 

High-quality corn feed will increase your animalsā€™ gains and outputs from your operation. SuperSile High Moisture Corn Inoculant is an ideal way to help ensure the successful storage and quality of your hi-moisture corn (HMC).

 

With the slow fermentation and low sugar content in HMC, our blend of four bacteria strains will help speed up the fermentation process and create a stable feed.
